We came across this site while touring south of the border two years ago. We had been traveling down the M6 when a Thunder and Lightning storm started. The rain being that heavy that I decided we would stop at the services until it cleared.
We were looking through the site books that we carry when touring and decided to phone Clitheroe to see if they had any space. The Site manager could not have been any more helpful. Although the site was very busy he managed to find space for us.
Situated at the side of the river Ribble this is a very picturesque site. We stayed on the site for the evening and pulled off the next morning. Although we did not spend much time here we were very impressed with the cleanliness off the facilities and the service we received whilst there.
