Thornleigh Caravan Site |
|
|
Review by David Mansworth
A great small site that never fails to give a quiet place to stay and yet within 30min of far too many attractions to list.
About the area .
South Somerset can rightly claim to be the gate way to the West Country and Thornleigh Caravan Site is set on the edge of the Blackdown Hills and is an ideal centre from which to discover the delights of this spendid corner of England. Stately homes and historic houses, village churches steeped in the legend of centuries, the joys of the seaside coastal towns on English and Bristol Channels. Man-made wonder and technology at the Fleet Air Arm Museum at Yeovilton or the wild wind-swept beauty of Exmoor and Dartmoor National Parks are all within easy reach of THORNLEIGH Meander through the country roads and enjoy the delights of the rolling countryside. Call at the charming village Inns and sample the true hospitality of our appetizing West Country cuisine.
