Situated at the side of the river Weaver this is a very picturesque site. We stayed on the site for two days while visiting friends in Cheshire who had recommended it to us. The site owners where extremely helpful and run an excellent site. We were very impressed with the cleanliness off the facilities and the service we received whilst there.
Sitting in front of the caravan watching the Canal boats and small craft sailing along the river was most relaxing, an enjoyable way to spend any meal time or just sitting with a few drinks.
There is certainly plenty to do in the area and with the Riverside Restaurant and bar just a few minutes walk away it certainly was a great few days!
We had a lovely meal in the Riverside Restaurant next door to the site and cannot speak highly enough of both the service and the fantastic meal at great prices, certainly well worth a visit!
We are most certainly going to return here in future and will recommend highly to anyone visiting this wonderful area of Great britain.
