As the name suggests this caravan park is next to Forfar Loch. This site is maintained by the local council and is kept to a very high standard.
The site is also in the middle of Forfar which means you can walk to the shops and back for your morning rolls and papers.
We enjoyed our weekend here and will most definitely be returning to this site.
There is an excellent walk all the way round the lock which is wheelchair accessible. The facility block has excellent clean and tidy toilets and showers. There is a properly fitted out toilet and shower for disabled visitors and the staff are extremely helpful. On the Saturday afternoon we even watched a cricket match. The Forfar Sports centre is right beside the site and there is also a very large play park for the kids. A nice relaxing break. |
